A Beautiful Day in Bloom: Celebrating the 2026 Garden Tour

What a truly wonderful day!

The Garden Club of Manchester extends our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Garden Tour. From longtime supporters and first-time visitors to our generous homeowners, dedicated volunteers, and community partners, this year's tour was a beautiful celebration of gardening, creativity, and the Northshire community.

Throughout Manchester, Dorset, and East Dorset, guests explored an extraordinary collection of private gardens, each offering its own unique personality and inspiration. From thoughtfully designed perennial borders and peaceful woodland retreats to vibrant seasonal plantings and expertly tended landscapes, every stop reflected the passion and dedication of the gardeners who so graciously opened their gates.

Our deepest appreciation goes to the homeowners who welcomed hundreds of visitors into their private gardens. Your generosity made this special day possible, and your willingness to share your personal spaces inspired everyone who walked the paths.

Behind the scenes, this event truly was a club-wide effort. Nearly every member of the Garden Club of Manchester played a role in bringing the day together—planning for months in advance, preparing gardens, greeting guests, staffing ticket locations, directing traffic, assisting visitors, and ensuring every detail ran smoothly. The Garden Tour has long been one of our signature events, and its success is a testament to the incredible dedication, teamwork, and volunteer spirit of our membership.

We are also grateful to The Equinox Golf Resort & Spa for offering a special Garden Tour luncheon, providing visitors with another memorable way to enjoy the day while supporting the Garden Club's mission.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket and spent the day exploring these remarkable gardens. Your participation directly supports the Garden Club of Manchester's ongoing work in civic beautification, horticultural education, environmental stewardship, community projects, and our annual scholarship program, helping us continue to inspire future generations of gardeners.

Whether you left with ideas for your own garden, discovered a new favorite plant, or simply enjoyed a leisurely summer day surrounded by beauty, we hope you found inspiration around every corner.

The conversations, questions, and enthusiasm we heard throughout the day reminded us just how much our community enjoys connecting through gardens. Because of that excitement, stay tuned—you may just see some more intimate, up-close-and-personal garden experiences and special spin-off events in the future.

And as always, if you have a beautiful garden—or know someone who does—that you believe would make a wonderful addition to a future Garden Tour, we would love to hear from you. One of the greatest joys of our annual tour is discovering new gardens and the passionate gardeners behind them.

Thank you once again for making the 2026 Garden Tour such a tremendous success. We look forward to seeing you at future Garden Club events—and, of course, at the next Garden Tour!
