President – The (Co-)President(s) shall preside at all meetings of the Club and Executive Board, enforce the rules in accordance with the Bylaws, appoint the Standing Committee Chairs, appoint special committees, be an ex officio member of all committees, act as representative to the Executive Board of the Federated Garden Clubs of Vermont, and have general supervision of the interests of the Club.

Vice Presidents – The Vice Presidents, in the order of their standing, shall perform the duties of the President in their absence.

The First Vice President shall be Chair of the Flower Shows and Garden Tours, or appoint a Chair.

The Second Vice President shall be Membership Chair and shall maintain a current list of members and updated committee selections, and maintain records of attendance at meetings and events.

Recording Secretary – Shall keep a record of all meetings of the Officers, Executive Board, and Annual Meeting. Shall provide the minutes of the previous meeting, as appropriate, and be in charge of all corresponding papers and records.

Corresponding Secretary – Shall have charge of the general correspondence of the Club.

Treasurer – Shall receive, collect, and hold all funds and disburse them at the order of the Executive Board. Shall keep a correct account of all monies and provide Budget and Asset Reports to the Executive Board.

Assistant Treasurer – Shall support the Treasurer and report to the Executive Board in the Treasurer’s absence. Shall provide all monetary-related mail to the Treasurer and dues information to the Membership Chair.

Historian – Shall keep up-to-date records of Club activities, honors, and achievements as provided by the corresponding Chairs. Shall keep a complete set of Yearbooks. Shall be familiar with parliamentary procedure and be a resource for the presiding officer(s).
